DETAILED ITINERARY 📝
INTRODUCTION
The Mostar and Beautiful Herzegovina Tour is a full-day excursion from Sarajevo, showcasing the breathtaking beauty of Herzegovina. Departing at 8:00 AM, this journey takes you to iconic destinations including Mostar, Konjic, Kravice Waterfalls, Počitelj Village, and Blagaj, while passing through the stunning Neretva River Canyon, one of Europe’s most picturesque landscapes.
KONJIC
Our first stop is the charming town of Konjic, located about an hour’s drive from Sarajevo. Renowned for its Ottoman-era bridge, Konjic is a gem of heritage and nature. Famous for its intricate woodcarving tradition and spectacular scenery, the town sits on the emerald-green Neretva River. Here, we’ll pause for coffee, a short walk, or a photo session—whatever suits your preference.
KRAVICE WATERFALLS
Next, we visit the village of Studenci, home to the magnificent Kravice Waterfalls. These cascading falls, 28 meters high and 120 meters wide, form a natural amphitheater of unparalleled beauty. A popular spot in the Balkans, Kravice is ideal for relaxing in nature and even swimming during the summer.
POCITELJ VILLAGE
After Kravice, we continue to Počitelj, a medieval-Ottoman village that feels like a step back in time. Constructed in the 15th century and built entirely of stone, Počitelj features a fascinating mix of medieval fortifications and Ottoman-era architecture, including Hadži Ali’s Mosque, the Madrasa, and the Hamam. Still inhabited, this village offers a glimpse into traditional life, with its residents cultivating pomegranates, mandarins, and other fruits. Exploring its narrow paths and historical landmarks is like unlocking a treasure trove of history.
BLAGAJ TEKKE AND SPRING OF RIVER BUNA
Blagaj is one of the Balkans’ most unique destinations. Famous for its Dervish Tekke, this 15th-century monastery has been a place of religious rituals for centuries. Nestled under a towering 240-meter cliff beside the source of the Buna River, the Tekke exudes mystery and tranquility. The serene setting and intriguing legends surrounding this site make it a place of reflection and peace.
MOSTAR
Our final destination is Mostar, the cultural and historic heart of Herzegovina. In the Old Town, we’ll visit its most iconic landmark: the UNESCO-listed Old Bridge, a symbol of the city’s resilience and heritage. Other highlights include Kujundžiluk (the Old Bazaar), the Crooked Bridge, the Koski Mehmed-Pasha Mosque, and the Old Turkish Hamam. After the guided tour, you’ll have free time to wander the cobblestone streets and soak up the enchanting atmosphere of this magical city.
Join us on this unforgettable journey through Herzegovina to explore its natural wonders, rich history, and vibrant culture.

Estuvimos encantados con Lejla. Nos transladó de un lugar del país al otro con un tour incluido y todo fue perfecto. Explicaciones precisas y rigurosas combinadas con humor y simpatía en un día muy largo que se nos hizo corto.
